Bill Smith is owner and managing director of Force 13 Marketing. He is an award-winning high-tech marketing veteran with broad experience in the media and entertainment, pay-TV, consumer electronics, telecom and advertising industries. A gifted storyteller, he is skilled at re-articulating complex concepts into easy-to-understand messages.

Bill has held senior leadership roles at TiVo, Rovi Corporation, Skyboxe, Mediabolic and CNET Networks. As head of global marketing at TiVo, he successfully transformed the company’s focus and narrative from its legacy DVR business to a software and services firm focused on entertainment discovery and video viewership analytics. At Mediabolic, Bill was credited with positioning the start-up for its eventual $43 million acquisition by Macrovision. Bill’s communications and sales enablement programs have been instrumental in increasing customer engagement, achieving pipeline growth, and accelerating shareholder value.
